2) A broader range of speech emotion that covers: anger, fear, joy, love, sadness, and surprise.
The data is collected from the following regions and countries: Bulgarian language: native and non-native BG.
The speech emotion dataset contains audio clips of people recording themselves speaking with different emotions, up to 15 minutes of speech per person. The speech is captured using mobile phones from a diverse crowd of speakers representing all ages and backgrounds.
The recordings vary in length with an average of 10-second clips. For spontaneous emotions, we ask the users to record themselves reacting to situations and prompts. For consistent reactions, we have people read sentences and act out the emotion in the provided texts. If needed, the recordings transcripts are available.
